Proven Energy provides a renewable energy investment opportunity for farmers and the agriculture industry. Installing a Proven Energy small wind turbine can improve energy efficiency and provide a valuable source of revenue dependent upon local grid regulations and site conditions.
Self-generation is particularly useful for high energy use locations such as Dairy Farms where in some cases electricity bills are eradicated and payback can be almost immediate! Why not take the tour to find out more.
Our turbines are different to most other wind turbines in that they don’t use a gear system and rotate at a relatively slow rpm. This combined with the aerodynamic efficiency of the blades ensures that the turbines are quiet in operation and well suited to a peaceful rural location.
South Drumboy Farm, located near to Proven Energy in Stewarton, benefits from power supplied by a Proven 6. The turbine is located on a high wind site and has produced approximately 10,000kW of electricity in the last year powering the farm, farm house and hot water supply.
The proprietor of the farm now enjoys revenue from the sale of excess, clean green electricity to the UK National Grid. The generous financial return from the turbine coupled with the initial 50% installation grant ensures that this investment will provide a sound return for the proprietor.

Our full product range has been applied successfully across the agriculture industry, for high energy users the Proven 6 and Proven 15 will be of most benefit.
The Proven 6 is recommended for medium sized holdings while the Proven 15, the largest wind turbine in the range, is recommended high energy users but your Proven Energy reseller can advise you on the best to employ at your site. Both can lead to reduction or elimination of rising energy costs.
Proven Energy systems are versatile and can be adapted to suit your needs whether connected to the grid, battery charging or employed to power a direct heating system.
"I have been extremely impressed with the robustness of your products and engineering. I am writing therefore to acknowledge this competence and the reliability of the products, which have performed predictably under what, must be some of the most extreme weather conditions experienced in the UK.
Wind gusts of 128mph were recorded in the vicinity of the turbine over this weekend - your technology has not missed a beat throughout. I am therefore a very satisfied Proven Energy customer and would willingly recommend your products and engineering competence to any potential purchaser."
