PRIVATE WINDCROFTING™
The WINDCROFTING™ concept is simple: any landowner with a grid connection can sign up. In return for a 25 year lease, the landowner will receive rent and may also wish to buy their own subsidised turbine at the same time to provide their own electricity.
A Proven Energy subsidiary installs the small wind turbines and earns revenue by selling the power generated to the grid and also sells Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) on the market.
