"I have been extremely impressed with the robustness of your products and engineering. I am writing therefore to acknowledge this competence and the reliability of the products, which have performed predictably under what must be some of the most extreme weather conditions experienced in the UK.
Wind gusts of 128mph were recorded in the vicinity of the turbine over this weekend - your technology has not missed a beat throughout. I am therefore a very satisfied Proven Energy customer and would willingly recommend your products and engineering competence to any potential purchaser."
"Perhaps you had heard the news that we experienced a super typhoon last week with recorded top speeds of more than 60m/s (135 mph) in Kyushu area. Well, the Proven 7 at Taku high school, which is mounted on top of the school got the typhoon straight ahead and survived - while still running! So we have the proof that the Proven 7 can survive 60m/s (135 mph), even if mounted on a building. I find that reassuring."
“The collaboration with Motorola was a world first for us resulting in an innovation we are all proud of. We are enjoying the benefits of this solution and will be deploying more solar-wind powered base stations to many a rural setting to provide cost-effective solutions to our rural areas.”
"Our group much enjoyed and appreciated the visit last Monday. What you are doing is very impressive and so good luck to you. We realise the challenge and admire the progress. You have the largest production line for small power turbines in Europe and we were grateful to be shown everything in such an open and sincere manner."
"They are not noisy. The sound they make - and you have to be reasonably close to them to hear it - is as comforting as a cat purring on your lap and knowing that the wind is paying the electricity bill."
"I would just like to say how satisfied I am with the installation of my wind turbine."
"Thank you for an excellent product! Our system has been up and running for a year now and I've just lowered the tower to give it its annual service. I was well impressed by the condition of all the moving parts, with virtually no wear on any of them. Before we installed your system, we were burning around 100lts of diesel a week and we still had to rely on a low voltge system of lighting and a gas fridge freezer.
We now have an electric fridge and freezer, a dual fuel range cooker, 24-hour mains power and we are burning around 200lts of diesel a year! At this rate our system will have paid for itself in five years! What else can I say? FANTASTIC!"
"In 2006, Mountain View Montessori School was awarded a GreenPower grant from Desert Research Institute (DRI), Sierra Pacific Power Company (SPPCO) and the State of Nevada. In September, 2007, a Proven© 2.5kW wind turbine was installed in conjunction with a solar array to provide power and educational resource to the school. The integrated renewable energy system both feeds the school’s grid and provides power back into the local community grid.
The GreenPower renewable energy program is designed to support and promote the use and development of “green” sources of energy in Nevada, with an emphasis on educating Nevada’s K-12 population. The installation includes Internet-based energy monitoring software and teacher training in renewable resources. This project is targeted at middle school age students. MVM is the first independent school in Nevada selected for this award.
The GreenPower award allows MVM to practice environmentally aware based education, modelling care and respect for the natural environment and guiding students to environmental stewardship and sustainability. Additionally, Mountain View Montessori is dedicated to the sustainability of our earth’s natural resources through teaching and practising conscious choices in our classrooms and school community. Reduce, reuse, recycle, clean naturally and garden organically are regular daily practices. We support our students and families to be active participants in optimum environmental management, education and communication.
