USA MARKETING EXECUTIVES

Due to rapid expansion in the US market Proven America are looking to recruit a Marketing Executive.  Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing this will be the first US based marketing head and as such will enjoy considerable responsibility and autonomy.  The ideal candidate will be a self starter with 3-5 years experience in a similar role.  Industry experience is not essential but is desired. 

 

The candidate will have responsibility for building the US market presence in strategic States; liaison with lobbyists’, media and industry advocates alike and working closely with their US Sales colleagues to build our reseller network.  In addition they will work closely with our reseller network to provide marketing support and consultancy and carry out all PR/DM/Tactical Marketing activities for the US market.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Proven Energy Ltd is the UK’s leading manufacturer of Wind Turbines. The Proven blade pitch control and direct drive turbine design has been established and developed by Gordon Proven. Over the past year a team of bright engineers have been added to form a powerful Product Development department. The team currently need a Mechanical Design Engineer who can oversee the entire process of developing a wind turbine. Adding that capability to our Product Development department will complement the existing skills and make it a top class department.

Duties will include

1. Overseeing the development of Proven Wind Turbines and systems
2. Develop a system that is better than the sum of the parts
3. Manage Product Development projects in a professional manner
4. Lead and train the engineers in the team
5. Reporting to the Engineering Director

Ideal candidate should

1. Be a graduate in mechanical, automotive or aeronautical engineering and have strong analytical skills
2. Have relevant experience with the theory behind all major components of a turbine; rotor, drive train, generator and control system
3. Have the capability to improve the turbine performance by looking at system design and optimisation
4. Lead and train the engineers in the team
5. Couple strong personal ambitions with being a team player

CAD ENGINEER

• Preparing 2D drawings from 3D CAD models

PRODUCTION ENGINEER

We are seeking a Production Engineer to develop and support the business with emphasis on optimising operational performance and achieving quality, safety, and customer satisfaction to KPI targets. Principal accountabilities will be to provide the link between the Product Development and Manufacturing teams.

Candidates must possess the following:

• B Eng or equivalent
• HNC in Engineering

Duties will include:

• Project managing the installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Managing the introduction of new products.      
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure the right product, price and delivery.
• Implementing cost saving exercises.
• Co-ordinating set-up time reduction projects.
• Produce process stage drawings, flow charts and control plans. 
• Developing costs & routings for new items and ensure integrity of costs and control change for existing items
• Identifying the need for and control capital projects through specification and design to full commissioning and ensure specifications are met.
• Working closely as a link between Product Development and Production on all new modification and product developments to ensure they are fully optimised and comply with current H&S legislation.
• Defining  routings and establishing production times and remove inconsistencies through improvements to the system
•  Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives eg 5S, SMED, Poka Yoke, OEE, process improvement teams
